Introduction:

 

After finalising our songs choice, we decided to come up with a copyright letter which we would have to send to the record company for legitimate reasons, we did this to make sure that there would be no problems to happen letter on during the recording, and making of the video. To create a copyright letter to see a reassurance is essential because then the we would not hold any rights to the use of an artist. and then be able to share in on social media such as YouTube. So the creation of this letter is a good  source of evidence, so that in the future we are not going to be victimised and accused for using the song illegally.

 

Copyright Letter

The letter I Created involved me asking the record company for their permission to us the single, and I have ensured that I ask if they require us to make and changes to protect their company and/ or artist. I also explained that we will only be using the music video for educational purposes and will present it on popular platforms, including YouTube, so the company are aware of our intentions and understand that it is essential to our coursework. Below is a copy of the letter and the information that we have included in the later.

 

 

 

Conclusion:

In conclusion, having created a copyright letter has been useful because it is important that the process we carry out is authentic and effective. So the letter that we have sent will be used as a source of protection for my group members and I, as it will help prevent any future problems. If  the company send us a response, letting us know if we would be able to use the song or not. We will then take actions according to their response. But if the response is what we desire we will be sure to carry out with the initial plan and make sure that we will use their conformation to our advantage, but If we are not going to get a response from the company then we will still carry on with the idea.
